NEC Turbo Express

The NEC Turbo Express was essentially a portable Turbo Grafx 16 with a small screen because it played Hu Cards on the go. It was $299.99 USD and was the second color handheld system. It had a dual 8 bit processor and displayed up to 482 onscreen colors (out of a 512 palette.) The onscreen colors included the back grounds and the sprites.. Also available for the system was the TV tuner to watch TV on the go. The Turbo Express also had a silver screen appearence in the 1998 movie Enemy of the State. A piece of incriminating evidence was held in it.
