Nokia N-Gage
Nokia Product Shot On October 7, 2003 Nokia released it's first gaming system known as the Nokia N-Gage at a price point of $299.99 USD. The systems boasts a full load of wares including wireless gaming over the Bluetooth wireless network, cellular phone function (must be activated through carrier; currently only T Mobile and Cingular), a digital music player and FM tuner. The games will be sold in stores on cards and boast 3D graphics and stereo quality sound. So far, Sega, Eidos, Taito, Activision, UbiSoft and THQ are on board as publishers for the N-Gage. The wireless network will support up to 8 players per game (if the game supports it). Games available at launch were Tomb Raider, Pandemonium, Puyo Pop, Bubble Bobble, Sonic N, and Tony Hawk. Games are ranging anywhere from $29.99-39.99 USD. For the $299.99 USD price tag the system will allegedly come with: system, battery, charger, cable kit (USB and audio), headset, instructions, drivers CD Rom and other literature.
