Coleco Tabletop Arcades (Ms. Pac-Man #2395)

The tabletop arcades started being produced in 1981/2 by Coleco. These mini arcades were near perfect replicas of the large ones found in the coin arcades as the time. Some of the different games that were replicated were Pac Man, Ms. Pac Man, Galaxian, Galaga, Frogger, Donkey Kong Jr. and Donkey Kong from Nintendo. Takes 4 C batteries or Coleco's #2298 Perma Power Battery Eliminator. Neither was included in the initial system purchase. Games could be played one player or two, with the unit remembering the high score from the one player games. The two player game lets both players play at once, head to head to compete for the higher score.

Taken from the instruction manual: "If you would like to see a demonstration of Ms. Pac-Man before you play, move the Skill 1/Off/Skill 2 switch to either Skill 1 or Skill 2. Then push the right Control Stick up to "Demo"

The Donkey Kong Jr. tabletop was not lit like the others, it had an opaque panel on top for the light to shine through and illuminate the play field.
