Neo Geo Pocket (NEOP-A1)

The 16 bit Neo Geo Pocket was released in 1998 in Japan for $49.99 USD. It had a monochrome LCD screen and could play Neo Geo Pocket Color games. Preprogrammed software included calender (1991-2090) world time, horoscope, alarm clock, and settings. When the system was purchased you recieved 2 AAA (20 hours average) and CR2032 (1 year average) lithium battery for data backup. The LED light on the system will flicker when the battery is low. Do not remove the all batteries simultaneously as all data saved will be erased. The external extension connecto could be used for link cables, lights, and other accessories. The Neo Geo Pocket contained a 16-Bit CPU.
