Sony Funbit

Super cute fun! Ok, this falls under the category of 'virtual pet', but i guarantee that everyone will love the Sony Funbit. When you start out, he just looks like a blob with little bat wings. If you don't pay attention to him, he'll grow fat and sluggish. To play with him, you don't play with him like Tamagotchi or Pikachu; you have to make him dance. This is done by plugging the long blue cord (lower right corner) into the music source via the headphone jack. Your headphones/speakers plug into the input (upper left corner). Hearing the music, your pet starts to dance and lose weight. So it's just a novelty, but it's SO cute! Below is a diagram in both English and Japanese showing you what each function does. Upon closer inspection of the English instructions, the Funbit was actually a joint project between Bandai and Sony. That explains everything.
