Import Playstation 2

Many times over, consoles in Japan will see face lift and color changes one after another. The Playstation 2 is no exception. I recieved this Japanese Playstation 2 in the spring of 2003 (so that should give some date when this series came out). Other colors besides Sakura Pink (pictured above) were blue and silver. Externally, the NTSC-J Playstation 2 is the same as the NTSC-U model, which can be found here.

Pink matching controller for this NTSC-J PS2 system. (Please excuse the yellow tab, the cord is all black, but I don't plan on using this controller and didn't want to take the plastic and tape off)

The special edition of Rez that was released in Japan. The game contained the Rez game software and also a special USB Trance Vibrator with a soft pouch. The Trance Vibrator will work with the NTSC-U version of the Rez game on a NTSC-U system.
Power tip for this particular NTSC-J PS2. Notice that both tips are round (like the XBox) and are not compatible with the NTSC-U PS2.
