Link Cable

The Game Boy Advance/Gamecube Link cable was released in the Spring of 2002 to link similar games together between the GBA and the GCN. The first game to utilize this function was the Sonic Adventure and the Sonic Adventure Battle 2. Other games include Madden 2003. The cable can also piggy back onto the GBA E Reader to connect the GBA to the GCN and read data off the cards to use in the GCN games. An example of this is with the Animal Crossing game.
