Sega Saturn (MK-80000A)

30,000 initial units of the Sega Saturn were released in the United States in May of 1995 (1994 Japan). The system retailed for $399.99 and came with a set of AV cables, AC cord, controller, and the Virtua Figher game with a Bootleg demo disk. The Sega Saturn contained a 2x CD Rom unit with a 32 Bit RISC processor (32 bit graphics). Also the Saturn could use a CR2032 battery for internal memory instead of a memory card. Besides saving the clock settings, the internal battery could save games with an average life of 5 years. A cartridge slot located behind the CD lid allows for certain expansions like memory cards and import cards. The Sega Saturn also had ports on the back for keyboards and expansion. There were two versions of the Saturn: the first model had oval buttons the second model had round buttons.
